ABOUT US

As one of Turkey’s leading insurance and reinsurance brokerage companies, IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage INC. (UIB Turkey) began operating in 1997 after acquiring its licence. In 2002, IBS established a partnership with UIB (United Insurance Brokers), a leading and an expert Lloyd’s broker in London, at the heart of the world’s insurance and reinsurance markets. With its headquarters located in Istanbul, IBS operates in all insurance branches with its skilled staff and offices in Ankara and Mersin. In addition to its exceptionally wide UIB global service network, our company can provide risk analysis and consultancy services in fields of insurance and reinsurance in more than 120 countries with its UNIBA and EURIBRON network memberships.

CEO’S MESSAGE

As IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc. (UIB Turkey), Turkey’s domestic and global capital insurance and reinsurance broker, we have been working with the same excitement and enthusiasm since the first day of our establishment.

We are proud of being a company that has made a name for itself not only in our country, but also around the world with the projects we take part in. Not only do we operate in all insurance branches with our experienced staff and offices in Istanbul, Ankara and Mersin, but we also provide risk analysis and consultancy services in fields of insurance and reinsurance in more than 120 countries through the UIB global service network and the networks we are members of.

As a company that has succeeded in gaining an important place in the Turkish market and has been present for almost a quarter of a century, we offer various services to corporate companies, especially in infrastructure projects where our reinsurance experience can be advantageous, in areas such as defense, aviation, energy and insurance. As IBS, we took part as a co-broker in the course of insuring the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge project, the longest suspension bridge in the world, and the Istanbul Airport, the world’s largest airport with a capacity of 150 million passengers. Thus, through managing the issuance process of one of the most costly policies in Turkey in terms of insurance amount and one of the most comprehensive policies in terms of coverage, we had the opportunity to demonstrate our long-standing experience in insuring airport risks in such a project. In the upcoming period, we will continue to take place wherever Turkish investors are and secure our place as a local player.

While fulfilling all these and making future plans, our principal strength is IBS’s valuable employees and colleagues. Their dedication, the desire to question the work at hand and aspiration to do the best, and their teamwork constitute the foundations of our strenght. In addition to all these, we will strengthen our power by being more courageous in our ways of being ‘agile’ and taking the first step.

While we carry IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage to the future, we are happy to provide you with the best service for all insurance options you need with our expert and strong team.
